How music is structured

It seems like a miracle that so much variation is possible with only twelve tones.
Anyone who wants to peek behind the curtain of music theory is welcome to do so. This will allow not only vocalists , but all musicians to enhance their repertoire and learn to approach music with greater mental flexibility. It also makes learning an instrument easier.
